ZomatoA Factor was not conceived in a boardroom. It was built by practitioners who spent years working in digital marketing, learning design, and professional education — and who grew frustrated with the structural gap between what the industry teaches and what professionals actually need to perform in their roles.
"The founding team came together around a single conviction: professional education must be accountable to the roles it claims to prepare people for."
The team you see on this page represents the leadership core responsible for A Factor's institutional direction, curriculum architecture, assessment rigour, and partnerships.
Two co-founders, two decades of combined practice across digital marketing strategy and competency-based education. The institution exists because they decided to build it.
Co-Founder & CEO
Nandan brings over fifteen years of experience in digital marketing strategy, brand development, and education technology. His career spans senior roles across agencies, in-house marketing teams, and consulting engagements where he consistently identified the same structural problem: professionals entering the workforce without the integrated competencies their roles demanded.
As CEO, Nandan leads A Factor's institutional strategy, market positioning, and organisational development. He is responsible for translating the founding methodology into a sustainable, scalable institution that maintains the rigour of its frameworks while reaching professionals and organisations across markets.
Before founding A Factor, Nandan led digital transformation initiatives for mid-market and enterprise organisations, developed go-to-market strategies for education platforms, and served as a strategic advisor to marketing teams navigating the shift from channel-specific execution to integrated, data-informed marketing operations.
Co-Founder & Chief Learning Officer
Amit is a learning design specialist with deep expertise in competency-based education, assessment methodology, and curriculum architecture. Over more than a decade of work in professional development and higher education, Amit developed a conviction that most professional education fails not because the content is poor, but because the structure is wrong.
As Chief Learning Officer, Amit is the architect behind A Factor's Competency Model, the Role Framework, and the assessment methodology that underpins every programme. He leads the design of all learning experiences, ensuring that each programme maps directly to defined role requirements.
Amit's background includes designing competency frameworks for professional services firms, building assessment instruments for university programmes, and consulting on curriculum reform for institutions seeking to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry performance.
Discipline leads who translate the founding methodology into curriculum, assessment, partnerships, and community.
Leads the development and maintenance of all programme curricula, ensuring each learning pathway aligns with the Role Framework and Competency Model. Brings extensive experience in instructional design and competency-mapped content development.
Oversees the design, validation, and continuous improvement of all assessment instruments. Background in psychometrics and competency-based assessment design. Ensures assessments measure professional judgement, not rote recall.
Manages relationships with universities, industry bodies, and organisational partners. Responsible for expanding A Factor's institutional reach while ensuring alignment with the founding methodology.
Builds and nurtures the A Factor professional community. Focused on creating experiences that reinforce competency development and facilitate peer-to-peer learning at scale.
A Factor is a practitioner-led institution. Every person on this team has direct, hands-on experience in the disciplines we teach.
We do not hire theorists who have never built a campaign, designed a programme, or evaluated a portfolio. We hire builders who have done the work.
Decisions about curriculum, assessment, and partnerships are made by applying A Factor's founding frameworks: the Role Framework, the Competency Model, and the assessment methodology.
Our discipline ensures consistency. It means that what we promise to learners and organisations is what we deliver — because the methodology holds us accountable.
A Factor's philosophy articulates the position that drives every decision the leadership team makes.
The Governing Council holds the leadership team accountable to the standards professional education demands.
Every member of A Factor faculty and leadership has held the role they teach. We do not bring in academics to interpret industry — we bring in industry leaders to teach what they have actually built.
Join the institution that is redefining professional readiness through architectural rigour and direct experience.
